After dredging his first pond at the age of just 16, Ross Matthews discovered a passion that would shape his career for the next three decades. As a keen fisherman with a strong appreciation for the aquatic environment, Ross developed an interest not only in lakes, ponds and waterways, but also in the specialist machinery required to create, maintain and restore them.
What began as a fascination with both water and heavy plant has grown into a highly respected family business specialising in aquatic engineering, excavation and earthworks. Today, Ross continues to work closely with clients across the South East, combining practical expertise, specialist equipment and a problem-solving approach to deliver projects that are built to last.
Over the years, the business has expanded to undertake a wide range of projects including lake construction, reservoir development, dredging, erosion control, drainage, flood prevention and specialist earthworks for private landowners, estates, fisheries, farms, golf courses and commercial clients.
